How to Join and Renew Memberships
Working With Children Check (WWCC)
All members 18 years and over must hold a current WWCC with both Barwon Heads 13th Beach SLSC and Life Saving Victoria add as organisations to their profile. Memberships will not be accepted without this WWCC.
Please note that due to system differences Teacher and Police checks are not accepted, please apply for a new Volunteer WWCC.
Membership applications and renewals are completed online through Surf Life Saving Membership Portals.
All participating family members must have a membership. Any child below the age of 16 requires a parent / guardian join.
If you have never been a member of any Life Saving Club use the link below to complete your membership applications.
Please note that once you have submitted your personal details by following the link above, the last page will allow you to add more members as part of a family group and make a payment.
If you miss the last page to make a payment, simply go to the Members Portal, develop your account and then select: Membership -> Renewals, Payments and Transfers – > Make a Payment. Fees can be found HERE
All renewals are through Members Portal – Please ensure you have created an account, if not select the Create Account link.
If you are an individual: Log in then select Memberships -> Renewals, Payments &Transfers -> Select Renew below Barwon Heads -> Confirm all your details, sign the declaration form -> Submit. You will then be able to make a payment through the next screen.
If you are a family group: Log in then select Memberships -> Family -> If the number of members listed in the family group matches then you can select Renew -> Tick Declaration Box -> Submit. You can then make a payment through the next screen.
If someone is missing from your family group: Memberships -> Family -> View/ Edit. If they have not participated before select Join New Person & Add, if they have participated before select Add New Member, Search for their name and select the correct person. If they don’t appear in the list, add the member through HERE. Once the membership has been approved they can be added to the family.
If you have not been able to make a payment during the joining or renewal process this can be completed 2 ways.
Payment via your Member Portal – If you have an active member portal you will need to log in and then go to: Memberships -> Renewal, Payments & Transfers -> Make payment -> Complete a transaction line for each item (for example Family Membership, Nipper Fee) ->Next -> Complete payment details -> Submit
Payment without an active Member Portal account (new members) – If you would like us to confirm your membership and make payment over the phone please email firstname.lastname@example.org or for family memberships email@example.com. Alternatively, payment can be made through the gateway. If you are paying via the gateway please ensure you update the entity to display: Barwon Heads 13th Beach SLSC. Payments not made to this entity will go to SLSA as a donation and you will be required to repay membership fees.
If you would like your child/children to participate in the nipper program please complete the Nipper Registration Form.
Our programs are run by volunteers and we need your help to make it a success. Please indicate in the form above where you can assist throughout the program. It is an expectation that all families will assist in some way. Rosters will be developed and distributed prior to the start of the Holiday Program
